I am a ceramicist and toy designer/maker in Rhode Island

​DownEaster Pottery has a focus on functional small batches, custom orders and wholesale. I create tableware that brings a sense of connection and intention to daily rituals. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to highlight the natural textures and tones of the clay, celebrating the simplicity, utility, and uniqueness of handmade objects. The makes are not only practical but also enrich moments of gathering, nourishment, and reflection—a reminder of the harmony between art, nature, and everyday life.

In addition to ceramics, I have over 10 years of experience in the Toy industry.  My foundation in traditional and digital maker skills launched prototype innovation across an array of brands including, Star Wars, Marvel, GI Joe, Power Rangers, Ghostbusters, Disney Princess and FurReal Friends. Most recently I have been working on the product design team, capturing the intricacies of Star Wars characters and worlds to successfully bring product to market. Each project honors the legacy of Star Wars while pushing the boundaries in toy design to make the most impact on collectors and new generations a like. ​
