White stoneware cups inspired by Japanese Yunomi teacups. I have given these a turned foot for hightened elegance. Without a handle the user has a different experience with their drink and that is intentional. Cradling with both hands, as traditionally intended there is a bonus enjoyment when feeling the smooth carved decorative lines- which are inspired by tree bark patterns. 
 
 
 

This item is twice fired to proper vitrification for the specific clay body used in tandem with a sealer applied to any exposed/unglazed clay. I only use food safe lead-free glaze unless otherwise specified. All items are microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise specified.

 

Each cup is handmade and individually wheel thrown.
